What is Prayer?

Be nothing solicitous; but in every thing, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippains 4:7-8

Seeing Through God's Eyes

When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am; And that I do nothing of myself; what the Father has taught me is what I preach; he who sent me is with me and has not left me to myself, for I always do what pleases him.
John 8:25-26

Lent: Preparation for Easter

Produce fruit in keeping with repentance....The man who has two tunics should share with him who has none, and the one who has food should do the same....Don collect any more than you are required to.... Don extort money and don accuse people falsely -- be content with your pay.
Luke 3:8-14

How Should We Pray

How do we pray? Jesus taught us how to pray. He gave us a pattern of prayer in the Lords prayer.
"Our Father in Heaven holy be your name your kingdom come your will be done on earth as in heaven Give us this day our daily bread Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil for yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever, Amen"

Christian Leadership

Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, serving as overseers-not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.
