I call heaven and earth as witnesses this day, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore, choose life, so that both you and your offspring may live, and so that you may love the Lord your God, and obey his voice, and cling to him, (for he is your life and the length of your days) and so that you may live in the land, about which the Lord swore to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, that he would give it to them.

Wisdom: Seeing Through God's Eyes
When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am, and that I do nothing of myself; what the Father has taught me is what I preach; he who sent me is with me and has not left me to myself, for I always do what pleases him.

God's Covenant Love: Unfailing and Irrevocable
God's covenant love is seen in everything he has done and continues to do in our life. He calls us to a life in him. He forgives us and continues to reveal himself as he leads us to know him. He does this through the joys in life as well as in sufferings. There is always a purpose for suffering. It can be purgative or redemptive.
